Well i went an it was some good eating there. I really enjoyed the menu and desserts were awesome. That my spot from now on
Jessica is 100 percent correct
Just call them. Pretty nice on the phone
Really don't know they have special. Google the web site to get price and menu.
8.99 baby flounder, I believe. The fish is great. Shrimp are okay. Just about everything else, such as oysters and scallops are not fresh, but frozen and are just average at best. The fish is great though!
The sing on the doors state that the dining room close 30 minutes before take out
Ok thanks really appreciate.so hows libby hills or a good buffet to eat
Not the worst I ever had but not hardly as good either. Mayflower used to be so good not sure about this “Roza”. It’s very different. My waitress was inattentive and I never got my to go box. Pink lemonade tasted off. Everything was all off
It had been several years since I ate at this restaurant, which was then known as just Mayflower. My last experience was 2 stars at best. Recently I decided to give it another try as I saw it was under a different ownership. I'm so glad I did! My meal was delicious! I had broiled shrimp and fried flounder and no doubt at all that I will be going back!
Overall Roza Mayflower is an Awesome Restaurant. I love eating here and I really like the Skinless Flounder Daily special for only 7.99. They do have very good specials and they are way cheaper than most Seafood Restaurants. Yes they do charge 25 cents for takeout box but that's stated in their menu and the online menu. Also you get your money's worth.. you get a side coleslaw and hushpuppies for way cheaper than you would anywhere else. Customer Service is GREAT! And when you do get your food you get any condiments you would like and more. Also they don't hesitate to compensate if you have any problems. You'll never know until you try!
The quality of the food is not as it use to be years ago. The portion sizes is pitiful for the unreasonable amount you pay for the food. An alternative I recommend for excellent seafood is a quaint cafe called Cafe 13 which is located downtown Greensboro on North Elm Street in the big PNC bank building. I promise you it is worth it. You get your money's worth, quality food and great service.
Never coming back. Worst seafood place ever. Good service, terrible food.
Food was cold and my fish was very greasy I didn't enjoy it at all. That was my first and last time going through. Plus they gave themselves a $5.00 tip like who does that. Yea no thank you won't go back!!!! Portions are to small
Wow what a find. Everything was amazing. Crazy cheap, but delicious. I think the wattress was Psychic. She would bring things before we even asked. GrrreAT service
Even though we called the order in ahead of time for take out we still had to wait for 30 mins after arriving. Food was good.
I placed an order over the phone and was told to come back at 6:30pm. When I arrived back to get my food it was packed in the walk up inside where you get your food. All employees were wearing mask, however, they were not following the COVID-19 guidelines. One customer inside did not have a mask on and it was more than 10 people inside. I got home at 7pm and I just live around the corner. Due to them not following the guidelines I will not be spending anymore money there. I plan on calling someone because this is a health issue.
Was told order would be ready at 5:30. I was not out of the lot until 6:00. The staff is unorganized and they have a terrible system to checking who has arrived for call in orders and those that are placing an order. I have to give me name to three separate employees. Several other customers in front of my had the same issue. Tons of customers crammed into a small to go order space. Folks would just have to yell out there name. Food is decent. Portions seemed to be smaller than in the past. Will try to find a better places to buy shrimp in the future.
Good place to bring your friends and family
This place has really gone downhill since the management has changed things and the theme is lost and the new owners cultural changes. with that said I ordered the po-boy and it was crystal clear that they had gotten all of the shrimp out of a grocer's frozen food section. NO EFFORT WHATSOEVER!
This is a ridiculous amount of food for $20. And all fresh with this broiled platter. Except the hush puppies and crab. The white fish in the middle with no skin, shrimp, then scallops (in that order were the best). Sharply downhill from there the skin on fish to the right (ok), the skin on fish to the left (no way), stuffed crab (disgusting). No worries. Tons of food here. Baked potato with butter and real sour cream was perfect. Cole slaw was ok. Salad was very good, with what tasted like homemade ranch dressing. The hush puppies were shaped like donuts and were very fluffy, not hard. That was nice. Everyone I saw eating, was really enjoying it, far as I can tell. What a deal. I am completely stuffed!
I ordered through Grubhub. It lists tea as $2.99. Yeah, a cup. I called to clarify. Girls says, yeah "1 cup" $2.99. "Half gallon" is $3.29. Does that make sense?
I haven't been to this location for a very long time last time the food wasn't great and the restaurant seemed nasty.. But today I visited this location and it was GREAT our waitress Angel was super sweet and on it. She knew what we wanted before we asked, the food was awesome, the complete experience was really wonderful.. I work with adults with disabilities and had my client and he even said that was a great experience.. Thanks for making our Friday great.. Good job on everyones part..
First time trying this place out, and wasn't impressed at all. Chelsey, my server really worked on conserving her steps. I waited 10 minutes to get service. Waited on a table which came in after me, got their drinks and food before me. Not sure if she was having a bad day, but.... Then the scallops were shark plugs, and my "jumbo" shrimp were gumbo shrimp. I asked for lemon with my tea, and then had to ask someone else to bring me some, after the fly by, of dropping it off. Give the customer what they ask for. My turnip greens had no taste, as if they were floated in water. And the cole slaw must of come from KFC. And I was charged for my Blue Cheese dressing for my salad. Being from Louisiana, I know what seafood should taste like. And I don't recommend this place, at all.
Not totally terrible. Was told by the staff that the oysters are frozen and the scallops are not actually scallops. The Calabash style shrimp were mostly breading, cooked from grease that probably needed changing, over cooked, or both. The oysters were decent. Not the decent quality I remember from the past. This is the kind of place that I'd love to see on a Gordon Ramsey show.
Fish was overcooked and not seasoned well. Ordered two different meals yet both had the same outcome.
Can somebody please tell me why they tell you 10/15 minutes when you place the order(call in)then when you get there you have to wait 10/15 minutes more. This has happened like three or four times within two months.. I wish I was from the area so I could find another seafood restaurant seriously.
Incredibly slow! The only reason they get 2 starsis because the food is actually decent if you can ever get it.
Great food, prices aren't bad, large portions, the owner fixed up the place.Good service. Nice people.
I had a take out order. Staff was really nice and courteous! I was able to look at my food before leaving, it looked decent. When I got home, the hushpuppy rings were hard(overcooked) French fries were too crispy hard. The flounder was okay. The price was okay.
Great food and customer service 👍
Nickel and dimes. Made me purchase an entire side of cole slaw because I requested it on my burger. I gave them my phone number at order. They waited until I arrived 20 min later to start the burger because of the cole slaw issue. Why not just call me back? Lastly I had to remind them to give me the cole slaw that they made me for because they forgot to put it in the bag. Side note: A gentleman wanted parmesan cheese with his spaghetti and guess what..that was an extra charge as well. I can understand charging for condiments outside of the norm but this is sad.
Their Seafood their servings The Taste the freshness is all satisfying my family was very pleased will visit them again soon
I did a call in order of 2.Large combo. Large shrimp scallops, oysters. Got 4 oysters that was nasty could not eat them. 5 or 6 shrimp that was fair , scallop nothing like scallops. I don't know what it was . Baked potato that looked like it was cooked the day before.. First time there and my Last.
Something that should be posted: They do not start any pick-up orders that contain fried food or loaded baked potatoes prior to the customer paying. That pretty much defeats the purpose of accepting pick up orders, but you should probably tell people before arriving.I placed an order with this location and arrived to pick it up about twenty minutes later. A friendly young lady greeted us and confirmed the order. We paid for the purchase and it was ready another twenty minutes later. I found it surprising that the order required 40 minutes to complete. I was even more surprised that the kids meal had more popcorn shrimp than either of the adult meals. 😕
Food is always hot and fresh and worth the money. Tuesdays they have the $5 popcorn shrimp with a side😉
The fish was so fresh and delicious , the fried okra was seasoned so we'll. And don't get me started on the Hush Puppies👌
I really don't understand why this restaurant have average ratings. The food is really good. I enjoyed my meal!
Called 15 minutes ahead, yet food wasn't ready, although they weren't very busy.
The skibless flounder is very good
I had a take out order. The service was good, the food looked good until I glt.it home. The potato was cold and hard. The fish was so hard it was tough to eat. I called to complain and got no answer and they charge 25cent for a takeout box. Ridiculous!!!
A great family restaurant. Good food.
The food was good. I will be back
I DO NOT recommend. I called in my order at 310p, I got there to pick it up at 320p. I didn't leave until 346p. They are SLOW as hell. Also, they charge more than the Burlington Mayflower for the daily special. I order the chicken bites Wednesday special. They charge 6.99 for a way smaller plate than Burlington. Burlington Mayflower charge 4.99 and you get ALOT of food. Lastly, they overcharged me. They charged me 9.99 when the special was 6.99. I will never again go there. And if u in a rush I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you not to go there.
Like no other Mayflower....I will not go back. I had a salad, the lettuce was soft and bitter. The tomatoes were not ripe, 3 red onion rings and shredded carrots which I don't eat...I had ordered a Ribeye Steak Special..got a New York strip, which was cooked exactly as requested, however it had no taste at all. There is no comparison to the Mayflower that once existed on Randleman Rd. The Oyster bar no longer there. When arriving, the parking lot was vacant...maybe 10 cars there..1st red flag. Been there and waited as long as 45 minutes to be seated. No wait...I predict this place is struggling to their pay light bill and poor management.
Their Carry Out experience is the ABSOLUTE WORST!DON'T GO HERE UNTILL THE INSIDE OPENS UP!They so called workers sat around talking and laughing while my food got cold in the back. Then when I ask for a refund. They say my food just came up. However it was clearly cold! Also the lady cashier was coughing everywhere! During a Pandemic! I won't be going back you shouldn't either!
Customer service was great..the portions have gotten smaller while the price has increased.
My two big cheesecakes wore completely frozen Frozen in the middle took about 30 minutes to thraw out. The lady at the register was rude and talking about people that wanted refunds because they wore waiting over an hour for food . Every time I come here there's a problem with the food . Than they gave the nerve to ask you to come back the same day for two cheese cakes . Nobody has the time for that. They are just a big scam and people should stop eating here. Because it is just not like the old days with Mayflower. Our elders that come to eat and support the company are not being respected. And they charge to much to be messing up on anything. People who work hard and don't feel like cooking comes here to spend there hard earned money . Not to get scammed and have to get back out there comfort to get it fixed. We don't work for the company we are customers! CAN'T load pictures but just Spit Out a frozen ball !
Won’t EVER eat here again and will make sure anybody I know doesn’t either. Call in service is sorry as hell
Roza seafood formerly known as the may flower. Food is the same prices are to. Just a simple name change. Greensboro location is the best in NC. Happy Mothers Day!
The food was fresh & delicious everytime I visited!! The only REASON I gave 4 stars is because they forgot my daughter's desert! F#@kin awesome otherwise!! Great fresh cooked seafood!!
Great food and curb service.
Normally a good place. I went to scout the menu for a pending take out. I finish my activity and call in the order. They say 10 minutes. Perfect so I thought. I get there 15 minutes later and attempt to pick up. Not ready so I attempt to pay but got ignored by the cashier several times. Ok. Its Friday so I expect to wait but at 20 minutes I ask one of the hostesses to check on my order. She never comes back to tell me anything. After watching a few people come in order and receive them I set a deadline. The cashier finally acknowledges me and gets the extras ready when I tell her what I ordered. Still nothing from the hostess. After the last person got their order I walked out.37 minutes.....no food.
We had a party of 7 and asked to split the check. We ordered 6 flounder and shrimp Saturday specials for $8.99 each and one person ordered a side of yams only. It was a sweet potato, peeled and dumped into a small bowl without seasoning... just a baked sweet potato. The flounder was too fishy; three people ate it (the others took it to go) and we had to stop on the 3hr ride home because two of them got sick! The shrimp, fried okra and hushpuppies were good. This location doesn't give free hushpuppies (they are 3 for $0.99). The service was horrible. We had to flag down anyone walking by and ask for items several times. We left 12% gratuity on the table and was still billed 15% on our checks! We're not from the area and was hoping to eat at Stephanie's but it was closed... we'll be back to Greensboro but not to this restaurant.
great seafood. always love to go to this place when in town
Worst food I've ever put in my mouth. Too greasy in fact made me sick.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The water was the only thing that was decent. Fish no seasoning fried to hard smh. Glad we dont stay in Greensboro. We won't be back.
Potato and cole slaw were ok. Oysters were crunchy, scallops were like rubber and so was the jumbo shrimp. $18 down the drain. Close your doors!!!!!
